1/25 Scale 1968 Chevrolet El Camino Model Kit

This 1/25 scale plastic model kit recreates the 1968 Chevrolet El Camino as a custom street machine. It is designed for intermediate hobbyists who enjoy building detailed replicas of classic American car-truck hybrids. The kit contains 108 parts moulded mainly in white with chrome-plated accents and black vinyl tires.

Skill Level 2 Build Requires Paint and Cement

Assembly is rated Skill Level 2, so some modelling experience is helpful. Builders must supply their own paint and cement, which are not included in the box. The kit frees you to choose custom colours and weathering while the detailed instructions guide the construction of the lowered suspension, 396 V-8 engine and authentic interior.

Decal Sheet and Chrome Parts Add Visual Detail

Colourful decal artwork and chrome-plated small parts provide factory-style badging and brightwork without extra effort. Black vinyl tires and five-spoke custom wheels complete the street-machine stance. No power tools or specialised equipment are needed, keeping the build bench quiet and the power draw non-existent.

Questions about this item

How many parts must be assembled before the 1/25 scale El Camino street machine is complete?

The kit contains 108 detailed parts moulded in white plus black vinyl tyres and chrome plated small parts that all need cement and paint to finish.

Does the finished model generate any noise, heat or power draw once it is built and displayed?

No, it is a static plastic display model with no motor, electronics or moving components, so it runs silently, produces no heat and draws no power.

Which adhesives and paints do I need to have on hand before starting this Skill Level 2 build?

You must supply your own plastic model cement and the paints required to replicate the colourful decal artwork, chrome details and 396 Big Block V-8 engine finish.
