1/25 Scale 1989 Batmobile Kit

This AMT plastic model kit reproduces the Batmobile from Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film at 1/25 scale. The box contains 89 parts moulded in black plus a seated Batman figure, black vinyl tyres and metal axles. It is aimed at intermediate builders and collectors who want a screen-accurate display piece from the classic movie.

Skill Level 2 Assembly Requirements

The kit is rated Skill Level 2, meaning paint and cement are required but not supplied. Builders must provide their own modelling tools, adhesives and finishes to complete the model. The instructions guide assembly of detailed cockpit, dashboard, pull-out turbine and access-panel features, so patience and basic modelling experience are needed.

9.5 Inch Finished Model Dimensions

Once assembled the Batmobile measures 9.5 inches long, making it a substantial shelf or cabinet display item. The 89-part count provides detailed exterior surfaces and interior cockpit elements, though the fixed scale limits interior space. Collectors seeking larger or motorised replicas will need a different kit, as this version is static and non-electronic.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1/25 scale kit or a different scale for my display shelf?

This kit is only offered in 1/25 scale; the finished model measures 9.5 inches long, so check your shelf space against that single size.

What does the 9.5 inch finished length mean when the model is assembled on my desk?

The completed Batmobile will span 9.5 inches from nose to tail, giving a substantial presence without needing a huge display area.

How does the skill level 2 rating affect the build experience with the 89 parts?

Skill Level 2 means intermediate experience is recommended; the 89 parts require paint and cement, plus careful fitting of details like the pull-out turbine and cockpit.
