12MP 16-Channel PoE NVR
The Annke 12MP 16-channel PoE network video recorder connects up to 16 IP cameras for live view, recording and playback at up to 12MP resolution. Built-in PoE ports supply power and data over a single cable per camera, simplifying installation for home or business surveillance systems.
Bandwidth and compression limits
Incoming bandwidth reaches 160 Mbps while outgoing bandwidth is 80 Mbps, capping the total high-resolution stream volume the recorder can handle. H.265+ compression reduces storage consumption and network load, automatically falling back to H.265, H.264+ or H.264 depending on the connected camera capabilities.
Dual SATA bays and 4K output
Two SATA interfaces accept drives up to 8TB each, providing local recording capacity without proprietary drive trays. HDMI output delivers up to 4K (3840×2160) for monitoring, while VGA stops at 1080p. The unit draws 15W without drives or PoE load, and each PoE port supplies a maximum of 25.5W for attached cameras.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 16-channel PoE version or a smaller channel count for my 12MP camera setup?
The recorder provides 16 built-in PoE ports, so you can connect up to 16 IP cameras at 12MP resolution without needing a separate PoE switch.
What does the 12MP recording capability actually deliver when the system is running?
Live view, recording and playback all support up to 12MP resolution across all 16 channels simultaneously.
How does the 160 Mbps incoming bandwidth limit affect 4K HDMI output and H.265+ compression?
The 160 Mbps incoming bandwidth handles the combined streams from 16 cameras, while HDMI outputs up to 4K (3840 × 2160) and H.265+ reduces stored bitrate without lowering recorded resolution.
