System Type and Purpose

The Annke 4CH wireless surveillance kit is a plug-and-play NVR system designed for home or small-business owners who want local monitoring without running video cables to each camera. It includes a 10.1-inch IPS touch-screen monitor and two 5MP IP66-rated cameras for indoor or outdoor placement.

Decisive Specification

The NVR accepts up to four wireless IP camera channels over IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and records at a maximum resolution of 2880x1620 at 15 frames per second using H.264+ compression. Local storage is limited to a single microSD card up to 256GB, and playback is restricted to one channel at a time.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

This kit suits buyers who need a self-contained, mains-powered system with a built-in screen for immediate viewing and two-way audio communication via the integrated microphone and speaker. It is not for installers who require wired PoE camera connections, continuous multi-channel playback, or onboard hard-drive bays for larger recording capacity.

Questions about this item

How does the 5MP resolution look on the 7-inch monitor in daily use?

The 7-inch IPS touch screen shows live view and playback at up to 2880×1620, so the 5MP cameras fill the display with clear detail for local monitoring.

What does the wireless 802.11 b/g/n link limit in practice?

The NVR accepts four wireless camera streams over 802.11 b/g/n; bandwidth and range depend on your router and walls, and each camera still needs a power outlet.

What mounting options do the IP66 cameras need for outdoor install?

The IP66-rated cameras are weatherproof for permanent outdoor mounting; they require a standard bracket (not included) and a nearby power socket for the supplied adapter.
