8-Channel NVR Kit with 12MP Turret Cameras

This new Annke PoE security system bundles an 8-channel NVR with four 12MP turret cameras and a pre-installed 1TB hard drive. It records up to 12MP resolution and uses H.265+ compression to save storage space. The kit suits homeowners or small businesses wanting a complete, ready-to-install surveillance package with AI human and vehicle detection.

Check PoE Ports and Network Layout

The NVR provides eight built-in PoE ports, each delivering up to 25.5W, so verify you have enough ports for every camera you plan to connect. Ensure your router has a free LAN port for the NVR uplink and that cable runs to each camera location stay within standard Ethernet limits. The system operates on DC 48V power and consumes 10W without drives or PoE load.

Fits Standard Rack or Shelf Mounting

The NVR measures 315 x 240 x 48mm and weighs 1kg without a hard drive, fitting a 1U rack space or a desktop shelf. It accepts one SATA drive up to 8TB, leaving the included 1TB unit room for expansion. HDMI output supports 3840 x 2160 resolution for local 4K monitoring, while the cameras' IP67 rating and 2.8mm lens handle outdoor mounting with 100ft night vision range.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include all cables and power supplies for the four cameras, or must they be purchased separately?

The four turret cameras connect to the NVR through the built-in PoE ports, so each camera receives power and data over a single Ethernet cable; no separate power adapters are required for the cameras.

The NVR supports up to 8 TB — should I add another drive now or wait until the 1 TB fills?

The NVR has a single SATA bay that accepts one drive up to 8 TB; the included 1 TB drive is already installed, so adding capacity later means replacing it rather than adding a second drive.

What resolution will I actually see on a 4K monitor connected via HDMI?

The HDMI output supports up to 3840 × 2160, so live view and playback from the 12 MP cameras are displayed at 4K resolution on a compatible monitor.
