8-Channel 4K DVR System

This wired surveillance kit includes a 4K H.265+ DVR and four 2MP outdoor cameras with a pre-installed 4TB hard drive. It is built for homeowners or small businesses that want continuous recording with AI-powered human and vehicle detection to reduce false alerts. The 5-in-1 recorder accepts TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP cameras for flexible expansion.

ABS Housing and Night Vision

The camera shells use ABS material designed for fast heat dissipation and long life without fading. Each bullet camera delivers up to 100 feet of night vision with smart dual-light technology for clear low-light footage. The DVR outputs 4K video over HDMI and 1080p over VGA while H.265+ compression lowers storage and bandwidth demands.

Mobile App and Alerts

The ANNKE app supports iPhone, iPad and Android remote monitoring and complies with GDPR for secure data transmission. Email alerts arrive with snapshots when the AI detects a person or vehicle in the frame. Audio is captured via coaxial cable on all analog channels, and the DVR carries UL and CE certifications for safety compliance.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 8-channel DVR and four cameras, and what wiring step is often missed?

Connect each camera to the DVR using coaxial cables for both video and power, then link the DVR to a monitor via HDMI for 4K output or VGA for 1080p; the step often missed is enabling the 5-in-1 mode on the DVR to recognise the connected analog camera type.

What maintenance will the 4TB HDD and cameras need over time?

The 4TB HDD runs continuously; check its SMART health periodically and replace it if reallocated sectors appear, while the camera lenses should be cleaned of dust and cobwebs to maintain the 66ft night vision range.

What limit appears first during sustained recording on the DVR?

The 4TB HDD capacity fills first; with H.265+ compression the drive stores more hours, but continuous 4K recording across eight channels will reach the storage limit before any thermal or processing bottleneck occurs.
