The Antronix CMC2004U is a universal four-way splitter built for two-way broadband networks and Network Interface Device enclosures. It supports vertical or ports-down mounting on integrated tabs with a heavy-duty ground block. Capacitively coupled F-ports block AC surges and protect against core re-magnetization. The zinc alloy diecast housing with nickel alloy plating resists corrosion for long service life.

Installation Fit and Signal Integrity

One-inch port spacing and flat 15 psi sealed F-ports meet SCTE compliance while preventing water migration and ensuring a solid ground connection. A 100 percent soldered back delivers repeatable 120 dB RFI shielding across the 5 to 1002 MHz range. The universal mount design fits NID boxes without extra brackets, freeing installers from orientation constraints in tight enclosures.

Capacity and Surge Headroom

Each port withstands multiple 6 kV ring wave surges per IEEE C62.41 Category A3, maintaining -45 dBmV spurious and harmonics after five surges with a +55 dBmV return signal. Proprietary ferrite blend inhibits core re-magnetization from impulse noise or lightning. Builders needing more than four output ports or operation beyond 1002 MHz will require a different splitter configuration.
