A 5-2150 MHz two-way diode-steered splitter with one DC-pass leg, solder-back construction giving 140 dB RFI shielding and Dish Network approval
The Holland HFS-2D is a two-way diode-steered splitter built for residential and commercial RF distribution. It operates across a 5 to 2150 MHz bandwidth with ultra-flat response and higher return loss. Solder-back construction provides 140 dB RFI shielding. Precision machine-threaded F ports are spaced at one inch for straightforward mounting.
One output leg passes DC power from any output back to the input, allowing inline powering of upstream devices. The diode-protected circuitry prevents damage while maintaining signal integrity. Dish Network approval confirms compatibility with that provider’s Joey installations from a node. The PCB layout and flat F ports simplify termination in tight enclosures.
The 5 to 2150 MHz range comfortably handles broadcast, satellite IF and cable modem frequencies on both ports. Splitter loss and port isolation are fixed by the two-way topology, so each leg receives roughly half the input power. Builders needing more than two drops or lower insertion loss must select a different distribution architecture.

The diode-steered circuitry passes DC power from the output to the input without moving parts, so no scheduled maintenance or replacement is required.
The 5-2150 MHz wideband range defines the frequency limit; the solder-back design maintains 140 dB RFI shielding across that span.
As a passive component with no active electronics or fan, it generates no audible noise and negligible heat during continuous operation.
