It adds a 3.5 mm wired option for Xbox Series X and S. The 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.4 radios cover the same 33 foot range with a maximum 20 ms latency, so one headset handles every platform in the house.

Build and daily use

At 239 g the over-ear design uses protein-leather cups and breathable foam on an adjustable band that keeps clamp pressure even. Passive noise cancelling seals the ear without active electronics. A USB-C charge reaches full in 2.5 hours and the headset works while plugged in, removing downtime. The boom microphone folds away when not needed.

Interface limits

Bluetooth 5.4 mode is not compatible with PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4, so those consoles require the 2.4 GHz dongle or the 3.5 mm cable. The built-in DAC outputs 96 kHz at 24-bit for 7.1 virtual surround, but the driver frequency response tops out at 20000 hertz. Xbox One and earlier consoles have no support at all.
