Share one monitor, keyboard and mouse between two computers at up to 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz with plug-and-play DisplayPort 1.4 switching
The Aomoproing 2-Port Dual DP 1.4 KVM Switch lets two computers share one monitor, keyboard and mouse. It targets professionals and gamers who need to control a laptop and a desktop or two PCs from a single desk setup. Plug-and-play operation means no driver installation is required before use.
A tactile button on the front panel and customizable hotkey combinations provide instant host selection with LED indication. Two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs and two USB 3.2 ports for keyboard and mouse connect directly to each computer, reducing cable clutter and avoiding repeated plugging that can wear ports over time.
The switch passes signals up to 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, 2K at 165 Hz and 1080P at 240 Hz within the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. HDR10, Dolby Vision, VRR and high-definition audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and PCM 5.1 or 7.1 are supported, but total throughput cannot exceed the 1.4 link capacity.

The DisplayPort 1.4 interface supports up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz.
Each computer needs a DisplayPort 1.4 cable and a USB 3.2 cable for keyboard and mouse; the monitor connects via a single DisplayPort 1.4 cable.
Press the front button or use a custom hotkey; the step often missed is connecting both USB 3.2 cables so keyboard and mouse control follows the video switch.
