8K DisplayPort 1.4 Cable 10ft
This DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries HBR3 bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps between a graphics card and a monitor. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and lower resolutions at up to 240 Hz. The 10 ft length suits desktop setups where the display sits further from the source.
Bandwidth and compression limits
HBR3 provides 32.4 Gbps total bandwidth, which requires Display Stream Compression 1.2 for 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz signals. Without DSC the link falls back to lower resolutions or refresh rates. The cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2, 1.2a and 1.1, but those standards cannot reach the same resolution and refresh combinations.
10 ft cable reach
At 10 ft the cable fits typical desk-to-tower distances but may be too short for routing behind furniture or across a room. Builders needing a longer run should choose a different length.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 10-foot or 3.3-foot length for my setup?
The 10-foot cable gives you extra reach for routing behind desks or across a room, while the 3.3-foot version keeps the signal path shorter; both carry the same 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and support identical resolutions.
What does the 32.4 Gbps bandwidth mean when I plug this into my GPU and monitor?
It allows uncompressed 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, or 1440p at 240 Hz, plus HDR10 and 7.1-channel audio, provided both your graphics card and display support those modes.
Does the DisplayPort 1.4 interface limit me to 60 Hz at 4K?
No — the DP 1.4 HBR3 link caps at 32.4 Gbps, which is enough for 4K at 144 Hz and even 8K at 60 Hz when DSC 1.2 compression is used by the source and sink.
