DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth limits

The link runs at 32.4 Gbps using HBR3 and DSC 1.2 compression for visually lossless 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz signals. The host must supply DP Alt Mode over USB-C; devices without that mode cannot drive the display. Backwards compatibility covers DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 sinks.

Triple-shielded copper construction
