Flat Cat6 patch cable with gold-plated RJ45 connectors supports up to 250 MHz for gigabit and 10-gigabit Ethernet runs
This flat Cat6 patch cable measures 10 ft and uses 30 AWG stranded bare copper conductors with 50 micron gold-plated RJ45 connectors. It is built for anyone routing a gigabit or 10 Gbps link along skirting boards, under carpets or through narrow gaps where round cable would kink or bulge. The low-profile shape keeps the run tidy in home offices, dorm rooms or rented spaces where drilling is not an option.
The cable terminates in snagless RJ45 plugs that seat in any router, switch, PC, console, NAS, PoE device or VoIP phone port. Its UTP construction and 250 MHz rating support 10Base-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000Base-T and 10GBase-T signals, so the same lead works for a desktop, a gaming rig or a network printer. The 5.8 mm outer diameter slips behind furniture or under door frames, freeing the user from cable trays or trunking.
Each cable ships with reusable clips that hold the flat run flush to walls or baseboards without adhesive residue. The manufacturer states every unit passes Fluke certification, confirming the bare copper pairs meet Cat6 attenuation and crosstalk limits. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation over repeated insertions, and the stranded design tolerates frequent re-routing better than solid-core alternatives.

The cable is rated to 250 MHz and supports 10GBASE-T, so 10 ft is well within the distance limit for 10-gigabit Ethernet.
The cable is passive UTP with bare copper conductors; it generates no measurable heat and draws no power of its own during data transmission.
You need two devices with RJ45 ports — such as a router, switch, PC, console, NAS or PoE device — to plug each end into.
