VESA-Certified DP 1.4 Fiber Cable
This 65 ft fiber-optic DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 32.4 Gbps and is VESA certified. It links PCs or laptops to monitors, projectors or HDTVs for high-resolution video and audio. The optical design removes electromagnetic interference for a stable link over long runs.
Replaces copper DP cables at distance
Copper DisplayPort cables lose signal integrity beyond a few metres; this fiber assembly maintains full bandwidth at 65 ft. The upgrade is worth it when the source and display are far apart or routed through conduit. It also supersedes older DP 1.3, 1.2 or 1.1 cables that cannot reach 8K60 or 4K144.
Handles 8K60 and high-refresh 4K
The cable comfortably drives 7680×4320 at 60 Hz, 5120×2880 at 60 Hz and 3840×2160 at 144 Hz or 240 Hz. It also supports 3440×1440 at 60 Hz and 2550×1440 at 60 Hz with Dynamic HDR and HDCP 2.2. Bandwidth headroom ends at the DP 1.4 limit of 32.4 Gbps, so 8K at higher refresh rates or 10K resolutions are not possible.

Questions about this item
How much clearance does the 65ft fibre cable need for its minimum bend radius?
The optical cable requires gentle curves; avoid tight bends or kinks that could damage the internal fibre core.
Which end of the directional DisplayPort 1.4 cable plugs into the GPU and which into the monitor?
Connect the marked source end to the graphics card and the display end to the monitor; reversing them will give no signal.
Will the gold-plated DisplayPort connectors need cleaning or replacement over time?
The connectors are passive and maintenance-free; only reseat them if dust causes intermittent contact.
