Compact wireless speaker for outdoor use

The aowoka S17-1-YTUS-BK is a portable Bluetooth speaker built for travel, sport and party settings. It uses Bluetooth 5.4 for fast pairing with phones, tablets, laptops and TVs. An 1800 mAh battery delivers up to 15 hours of playtime depending on volume and LED use. The IPX7 rating protects against water immersion during outdoor activities.

Upgrade from basic phone audio

This speaker replaces the limited output of a smartphone or tablet with a high-power full-range driver and a CD grain metal bass cone for deeper low-end. The jump is worth it when you need room-filling sound for a campsite, bike ride or gathering. It also adds a built-in microphone for hands-free calls and supports TF and SD card playback without a paired device.

Simple setup with a few caveats

Pairing takes about one second via Bluetooth 5.4 and works with most enabled devices. The compact 2.86 x 2.7 x 3.95 in frame fits easily in a bag or bottle cage. What usually goes wrong: battery life drops significantly with the LED lights on or at maximum volume, and the single driver cannot reproduce stereo separation for critical listening.

Questions about this item

How large is the speaker, and will it fit in a standard bike bottle cage?

The unit measures 2.86 in by 2.7 in by 3.95 in, so it is taller and wider than most standard bottle cages; check your cage dimensions before mounting.

What is the correct way to pair the speaker with a phone, and what step do users often miss?

Enable Bluetooth on the phone, power on the speaker, then select the device from the phone's list; the step often missed is waiting for the confirmation tone before playing audio.

How long will the built-in 1800 mAh battery last before it needs replacement, and can I change it myself?

The lithium-ion cell is sealed inside the IPX7 enclosure and is not user-replaceable; after several hundred charge cycles capacity will drop below the rated 15 hours and the whole speaker must be replaced.
