42U Server Rack Enclosure

The APC NetShelter SX AR3300SP is a 42U server rack enclosure built for data-centre and enterprise deployments that demand full-height equipment mounting. Its 2000 lb load rating supports dense configurations of servers, storage arrays and network gear in a single cabinet. The unit ships in shock-resistant packaging to protect the frame during transit. Black finish aligns with standard rack aesthetics.

600 mm Width and 1200 mm Depth

The cabinet measures 600 mm wide by 1200 mm deep, providing ample front-to-rear clearance for deep chassis and cable management accessories. Perforated front and rear doors promote airflow while the side panels can be removed for quick access during installation or maintenance. Casters and levelling feet are included so the rack can be rolled into position then secured without extra hardware. The 1991 mm overall height fits standard raised-floor environments.

Shock Packaging and Weight Considerations

At 295.62 lb the enclosure requires mechanical assistance or a team lift when unboxing and positioning. The 2000 lb static load capacity is only realised when the rack is bolted to a suitable floor; freestanding use on casters reduces the safe working load. Installers must verify floor loading limits and seismic requirements before populating the cabinet. No wall-mount hardware is supplied despite the supplier classification.
