Compatible Rack Systems

This APC AR7719 kit adds four swivel casters to NetShelter SX, SV and VL racks. Installation hardware and a guide are included so the rack can be moved after assembly. The casters measure 2.56 by 2.87 by 3.62 inches and weigh 5.47 pounds as a set. They turn a fixed rack into a mobile unit without replacing the frame.

Who Should Use This Kit

Data-centre teams that need to reposition populated racks on raised floors or level concrete will benefit. Racks that must remain permanently anchored, or installations on uneven surfaces where locking casters are required, are not suited to this swivel-only set. Buyers who need brake-equipped wheels or a different mounting pattern should look elsewhere.

Critical Specification

The caster dimensions of 2.56 x 2.87 x 3.62 inches determine whether the kit clears floor obstructions and fits the rack's mounting points. Verify these measurements against your NetShelter model before ordering.
