Blanking Panel for 19" Racks

The APC AR8136BLK200 is a 1U black airflow blanking panel designed to cover unused rack openings in standard 19-inch enclosures. Supplied in a quantity of 200, it suits data-centre managers and integrators who need consistent airflow management across multiple cabinets.

Tool-less Mounting and Airflow Control

Each panel occupies 1.7 inches of vertical space and mounts without tools, allowing quick installation or removal during hardware changes. By sealing open rack units, the panels promote top-to-bottom airflow movement and help maintain stable temperatures inside the enclosure.

Bulk Pack for Large Deployments

The 200-piece pack supports large-scale roll-outs or spares stock without repeated ordering. Panels are 19 inches wide with a minimal 0.1-inch depth, fitting flush into standard rack rails while leaving maximum usable depth for equipment.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1U blanking panel without tools?

Align the panel with the 19-inch rack opening and press until the toolless clips snap into the square holes, occupying exactly 1.7 inches of vertical space.

What maintenance or replacement will the 200-pack of blanking panels need over time?

The panels are passive black plastic with no moving parts; they require no scheduled maintenance and only need replacement if a clip breaks or the panel is physically damaged.

What is the first limit that appears when the blanking panels are used continuously in a hot aisle?

The 0.1-inch depth leaves minimal clearance for cable fingers, so adjacent patch cords can press against the panel and restrict the intended top-to-bottom airflow path.
