  • Model AR8426A identifies the exact organiser variant

Purpose and fit

The APC AR8426A is a 2U horizontal cable organiser designed for standard server racks and cabinets. It suits network administrators and integrators who need tidy routing across the front of patch panels or switches. It is not for vertical cable runs or tool-less trays that require a different mounting pattern.

Build and daily use

The unit occupies two rack units and presents a black finish that matches typical cabinet aesthetics. Its horizontal orientation keeps patch cords contained in a single plane, reducing snag risk during routine moves. No mounting hardware is mentioned in the data, so installers should verify screw compatibility before work begins.

What the bundle changes

No screws, cable ties, labels or management software are listed, so buyers must source those separately. The absence of bundled fixings means the first installation will take longer if the rack uses non-standard thread spacing.
