Questions about this item

Does the AR8652 spacer bracket generate any noise, heat or draw power when installed in a 4-post rack?

No, the AR8652 is a passive metal bracket with no moving parts or electrical components, so it produces no noise, heat or power draw.

What existing rack hardware must I already own for the AR8652 brackets to function?

You need a standard 4-post rack enclosure; the pair of 6-wide spacer brackets bolts between the front and rear rails to extend mounting depth.
