Network Management Card 3

The APC Network Management Card 3 is a plug-in module that adds remote monitoring and control to compatible UPS units. It connects through a wired Ethernet link and supports multiple management protocols for secure access. This card is intended for administrators who need to oversee power infrastructure from a central location.

Check UPS Compatibility

Before ordering, verify that your UPS model accepts a plug-in network management card in its expansion slot. Ensure an available RJ-45 port and a Gigabit Ethernet network segment are present for the 1000Base-T connection. Confirm that your management software can communicate using SNMP, HTTPS, SSH or the other listed protocols.

Replaces Basic Monitoring

This card upgrades a UPS that only offers local USB or serial monitoring to full network-based management with environmental sensors. The jump is worth it when you need to track temperature and humidity thresholds across multiple racks or receive email alerts through SMTP. It is not for installations that require wireless connectivity or fibre uplink options.
