Installation and common issues

The unit uses an IEC-320 C14 inlet and provides six IEC 320 C13 outlets plus two IEC jumpers for chaining. Only a Smart-Slot card or USB cable enables monitoring; without one the UPS runs silently but cannot signal software to shut down attached loads.

Runtime and interface limits

At full 500 W load the internal sealed lead-acid battery delivers approximately five minutes of backup, enough only for orderly shutdown. The Smart-Slot accepts one optional management card, so simultaneous network and serial monitoring is not possible without an external multiplexer.
