Line-interactive UPS delivering 750VA and 500W to eight IEC outlets with LCD monitoring and USB connectivity
The APC Smart-UPS SMT750IC is a 750VA 500W battery backup built for 230V operation. It provides eight IEC outlets including six C13 sockets and two IEC jumpers, all backed by a user-replaceable RBC48 battery. An intuitive LCD interface and SmartConnect capability allow local configuration and remote monitoring through USB or SmartSlot accessories.
This unit fits administrators protecting routers, switches, point-of-sale terminals or entry-level servers where 500W of sine-wave output matches the load. The 160–286V default input window and 540-joule surge rating cover typical office mains conditions. Sites needing extended runtime beyond the internal battery or higher wattage capacity should evaluate larger UPS models instead.
With 500 watts available on battery, the UPS supports loads up to that limit; exceeding it will cause overload shutdown. Verify the combined draw of connected equipment stays within 500W before deployment. The three-hour recharge time and RBC48 replacement cartridge complete the core service parameters.

The UPS operates from a 230 V output and draws from a 160–286 V input range; its 540 Joule surge rating and 500 W capacity mean internal components stay within design limits during all-day use.
You need IEC C13-to-C14 leads for each protected device and matching IEC jumper cables for the two jumper ports; the unit itself ships with an IEC-320 C14 inlet for the mains supply.
The USB interface provides direct monitoring, while the SmartSlot accepts APC management cards; legacy serial gear would need a compatible SmartSlot adapter card to integrate.
