Replaces smaller single-phase

Stepping up from a lower-VA or line-interactive model is justified when connected loads exceed the previous unit's watt rating or when transfer-time-sensitive equipment is deployed. The hard-wired 3-wire input and 1.5-hour battery recharge support extended runtime configurations using APCRBC140 packs. The jump is worth it when uptime requirements demand zero transfer time and scalable runtime.

Verify hard-wire input

Confirm the site provides a 3-wire single-phase supply with protective earth matching the 40-70 Hz auto-sensing input.
