5000 VA rack UPS for critical servers

The APC Smart-UPS SUA5000RMT5U delivers 4000 watts of continuous power at 208 volts for business-critical servers, voice and data networks, point-of-sale systems and ATMs. Its 5U rackmount or tower form factor fits standard 19-inch enclosures while the sealed lead-acid batteries recharge in three hours. The unit weighs approximately 215.46 lb and includes a DB-9 RS-232 port plus a SmartSlot for optional network management cards.

Verify 208 V supply and NEMA L6-30P plug

Before ordering confirm that your facility provides a 208 volt AC circuit within the 141 to 255 volt input range and a compatible NEMA L6-30P receptacle. The UPS accepts 50 or 60 hertz with a manual frequency switch. Ensure the rack or floor space accommodates the 8.7 inch height, 19 inch width and 26 inch depth. Loads must not exceed 5000 VA or 4000 watts combined across all outlets.

Four locking outlets and hot-swap battery

Two NEMA L6-30R and two NEMA L6-20R outlets provide secure locking connections for attached equipment. The RBC55 battery cartridge is user-replaceable without powering down the load. A 480 joule surge rating and UL 1778, CSA and FCC Class A approvals support reliable daily operation in rack or tower orientation.
