Smart-UPS Li-Ion 1000VA 120V

The APC Smart-UPS Li-Ion SMTL1000RM2UC is a short-depth rack-mount battery backup rated at 1000VA for 120V environments. It uses lithium-ion cells to provide reliable runtime for servers and network gear in space-constrained racks. SmartConnect cloud monitoring is included for remote status visibility.

Practical limits of the 1000VA rating

The 1000VA capacity defines the maximum load the unit can support during an outage; equipment drawing more apparent power will overload the inverter. Runtime decreases as the connected load approaches this limit, so critical devices must stay within the rated figure. Buyers needing longer autonomy or higher power for dense server clusters should consider larger-capacity units.
