Pure sine-wave battery backup delivers 1920 VA and 1800 W through ten NEMA outlets with a pre-installed network management card and extended-run capability
Model SMX2000LVNC
The APC SMX2000LVNC is a 1920VA 1800W line-interactive UPS that delivers pure sine-wave output at 120V. It ships with a pre-installed Network Management Card for remote monitoring and environmental alerts. The unit fits a tower footprint or a 4U rack space with optional rails.
This model suits server rooms and network closets that need extended runtime capability through external battery packs and a compact 17-inch depth. It is not suited for sites that require 100-127V output outside the 120V nominal setting or for installations that cannot accommodate a NEMA 5-20P input connection.
The single figure that determines fit is the 1920VA 1800W rating combined with the NEMA 5-20P input plug; if your circuit and load calculations fall within this capacity the unit will support the attached equipment.
Measured against everything we stock in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
The replaceable cartridge is the APCRBC143 sealed lead-acid pack, which the unit recharges in about three hours after a full discharge.
The 1800-watt rating is the hard limit; any connected equipment drawing more than that will overload the inverter even if the 1920 VA apparent-power headroom remains.
At full load the unit dissipates the difference between input and output power as heat; the 540-joule surge rating and ENERGY STAR certification indicate efficient operation, but exact thermal output varies with load and ambient temperature.
