Suits students and home users needing a capable

This model works well for web browsing, video streaming and light productivity with Apple Pencil (1st Gen) support. The 1.2MP front camera handles FaceTime calls while the 8MP rear camera captures documents and photos. Buyers who need cellular data on the go should look at a Wi-Fi + Cellular model instead.

128GB capacity defines the storage ceiling

With 128GB you can store a large library of apps, photos and offline media without relying on cloud sync. There is no microSD slot or external storage expansion via Lightning. Choose this capacity if your local storage needs fit within that limit.

Questions about this item

Does the 10.2" Retina display need a specific case size to fit its 2160 x 1620 resolution panel?

Any case made for the 10.2-inch iPad will fit the 2160 x 1620 Retina panel; the screen size and chassis dimensions match the standard 10.2" form factor.

What is the correct way to pair the Apple Pencil (1st Gen) so the Lightning connector charges it?

Remove the cap and plug the Pencil into the iPad's Lightning port; a prompt appears — tap Pair, then unplug and use. The step people miss is waiting for that on-screen prompt before unplugging.

When will the 128GB storage or A12 Bionic chip need replacement?

The 128GB flash storage and A12 Bionic are soldered to the logic board and are not user-replaceable; only a full board swap by Apple or an authorised provider can address failure.
