Compact 7.9-inch tablet for mobile users

The Apple iPad Mini 5 from 2019 delivers a 7.9-inch display with a 1536 x 2048 resolution in a Space Gray finish. It runs on a 2.50GHz processor paired with 3GB of memory and 64GB of built-in storage. The Wi-Fi only model includes an 8.0MP rear camera and a 7MP front-facing camera for photos and video calls. A 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers handle audio without adapters.

Upgrade from smaller phones or older slates

Buyers moving up from a compact smartphone gain a larger canvas for reading, annotating documents or sketching without carrying a full-size slate. The jump makes sense when portability matters more than a desktop-class workflow and the 64GB capacity covers local files. Users who need cellular connectivity on the go or a USB-C port for modern accessories will not find those features here.

64GB storage and 3GB RAM for everyday apps

The 64GB drive comfortably holds a mixed library of apps, offline maps, media and documents for travel or field work. The 3GB of memory keeps common multitasking — split-view browsing, note-taking and email — responsive. Intensive video editing, large 3D projects or heavy professional suites will hit the storage and memory ceiling quickly.
