Refurbished iPad 2 16 GB

This refurbished Apple iPad 2 delivers a 9.7 inch 1024 x 768 touchscreen driven by a dual-core A5 processor at 1.0 GHz and PowerVR SGX543 graphics. It ships with 512 MB of memory and 16 GB of built-in storage running iOS. The 33 percent thinner profile and sub 2 lb weight suit casual browsing, media playback and light productivity on the go.

Two cameras and iCloud sync

Front and rear cameras enable FaceTime video calls and HD video recording without extra hardware. Integrated iCloud keeps documents, photos and backups current across Apple devices automatically. Bluetooth connectivity supports wireless keyboards and audio accessories for expanded input options. The original 30-pin dock connector handles charging and legacy accessory support.

Thin aluminium chassis with 30-pin port

The black aluminium unibody measures 9.50 x 7.31 x 0.34 inches and weighs under 2 lbs, making single-hand use comfortable for extended periods. A single 30-pin dock connector provides power and data transfer but requires adapters for modern USB or HDMI peripherals. No USB ports are present on the device itself. Refurbished status means cosmetic wear may exist while core functionality is restored.

Questions about this item

Will the 512MB RAM limit which iOS versions or apps I can run later?

The 512MB memory restricts the tablet to iOS 9 as the final supported version, so newer apps requiring iOS 10 or later will not install.

What performance limit appears first when the A5 chip runs demanding tasks continuously?

The dual-core 1.00GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and PowerVR SGX543 GPU will throttle clock speeds to manage heat before the 16GB storage or 512MB memory become bottlenecks.

How warm does the 9.7-inch screen area get and does the fan spin up during all-day use?

There is no internal fan; the thin 0.34-inch chassis relies on passive cooling, so the rear aluminium warms noticeably during sustained video or gaming sessions.
