What it is

The Apple iPad Air is a 9.7 inch tablet with 16GB of storage and 1GB of RAM running iOS. It arrives new in Silver and is sold unlocked for use on compatible GSM networks. The package includes a USB charging cable.

Build fit

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity while integrated GPS supports location services. Cellular use is limited to AT&T and T-Mobile networks due to the GSM unlock. The 16GB capacity handles essential apps and media, freeing the user from carrying a separate laptop for light tasks.

Who it suits

This model suits buyers who want a compact iOS tablet for browsing, email and media consumption on supported carriers. It is not for users who need more storage for large libraries, builders who require a second SIM slot, or anyone needing the latest operating system updates.

Questions about this item

How long can the 16 GB of storage last when recording video all day?

Video files fill the 16 GB quickly; offload footage to a computer or cloud service regularly to keep recording.

Does the iPad Air get hot or drain the battery fast when left on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all day?

Continuous Wi-Fi and Bluetooth use will warm the back and reduce battery life; expect shorter runtime than light use.

Which SIM card size does the unlocked iPad Air need to connect to AT&T or T-Mobile?

It takes a nano-SIM; insert an active AT&T or T-Mobile nano-SIM to use cellular data.
