iPad Air 1st Gen 32GB Wi-Fi

The Apple iPad Air 1st Generation is a 9.7-inch tablet with 32 GB of built-in storage and Wi-Fi connectivity. It runs on a dual-core 1.30 GHz ARM v8-based processor paired with 1 GB of memory. The IPS LCD display delivers a 2048 x 1536 resolution protected by scratch-resistant glass with an oleophobic coating. It ships with iOS 7 and supports upgrades to iPadOS 12.4.6.

Suits light portable use, not cellular work

This tablet suits users who need a lightweight iPad for web browsing, email, and media consumption on Wi-Fi networks. The 5.0 MP rear camera and 1.2 MP front camera handle basic photos and video calls. Bluetooth 4.0 connects keyboards or headphones wirelessly. Buyers who require mobile data away from hotspots should look elsewhere, as this model lacks a SIM slot and cellular radios.

32 GB fixed storage decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 32 GB internal capacity with no expansion option. Apps, photos, and offline media must fit within this space. Users planning large game libraries or extensive offline video collections will hit the limit quickly. If 32 GB covers the intended workload, the iPad Air 1st Gen remains a functional choice for everyday tasks.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB version or look for a larger capacity?

This unit ships with 32 GB of built-in storage and 1 GB of memory; there is no micro-SD slot, so choose this capacity only if your apps, photos and offline media fit within that space.

What does the 2048 x 1536 resolution mean for everyday use?

The 9.7-inch IPS LCD packs 2048 x 1536 pixels, giving sharp text and detailed images at normal viewing distances; the oleophobic coating reduces fingerprints on the scratch-resistant glass.

How fast is the Micro USB 2.0 port for charging and data?

The single Micro USB 2.0 connector handles charging and syncing at USB 2.0 speeds; it does not support video output or faster transfer rates.
