Questions about this item

How often will the battery in this refurbished iPhone 16 need replacement?

The unit ships with at least 80% of its original battery capacity; Apple considers a battery serviceable above that level, so replacement timing depends on your daily charge cycles rather than a fixed schedule.

What limits sustained performance on the A18 chip during long sessions?

The hexa-core A18 with 5-core GPU will hit thermal throttling before any power limit, because the sealed chassis has no active cooling and sustained 4K60 Dolby Vision recording or heavy Apple Intelligence workloads generate the most heat.

How loud or hot does the phone get when recording 4K Dolby Vision video all day?

The glass-and-aluminium body becomes noticeably warm within minutes of 4K60 Dolby Vision capture; fanless design means zero noise, but the frame temperature rises until the system throttles clocks to protect the A18 chip.
