What this cable does

The Ardaddyn Samsung Gala is a 1.2 m retractable cable that combines Lightning, USB-C, Micro-USB and Apple Watch connectors in a single cord. It accepts both USB-A and USB-C power sources and can deliver up to 100 W through the USB-C output for fast laptop charging. Data transfer reaches 480 Mbps on the USB-C link while the other ports handle power only.

Who it suits and who it does not

Travellers and multi-device owners who want one compact cord for phone, tablet, watch and laptop will find the adjustable length convenient. Users who need simultaneous high-speed data on every port, or who require a fixed-length cable longer than 1.25 m, should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

The single USB-C output supports 100 W power delivery and 480 Mbps data; the Lightning, Micro-USB and Apple Watch outputs are charge-only. If your workflow demands data sync on those connectors, this cable will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

What input ports does the 1.2 m retractable cable require for power?

The cable has two input ports — USB-A and USB-C — so you need a charger or hub that provides at least one of those.

How do you extend the cable without damaging the retraction mechanism?

Pull both ends of the cable outward at the same time; pulling only one side will jam the reel.

When should the integrated Apple Watch charging puck be replaced?

Replace the puck if the magnetic alignment weakens, the watch no longer charges reliably, or the connector pins show visible wear.
