Trusted Home Connectivity

The ARRIS G20 combines a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem with a WiFi 6 AX3000 router in a single device. It delivers up to 1.0 Gbps maximum speeds for compatible U.S. cable plans. The unit replaces rented equipment and supports major providers such as Comcast Xfinity, Cox and Spectrum. Setup is managed through the SURFboard Central App for quick activation.

Sustained Multi-Gig Performance

DOCSIS 3.1 technology provides 10x faster capability than 3.0, reducing latency during extended gaming or streaming sessions. Switchable upstream filters optimise upload throughput when the provider enables higher-tier service. Dual-band operation keeps heavy traffic on the 5 GHz band while maintaining stability for smart-home devices over longer periods.

Cable Interface Limits

The coax connection caps usable throughput at 1.0 Gbps regardless of the WiFi 6 radio’s 3000 Mbps theoretical ceiling. Real-world rates depend on the provider’s provisioned tier and network congestion. Buyers whose plans exceed 1.0 Gbps or who require multi-gig Ethernet ports will need separate modem and router hardware.
