ARRIS WC4S Surfboard Max Dash AC3800 Tri-Band Mesh System

AC3800 Tri-Band Mesh System

The ARRIS SURFboard mAX Dash is a two-unit Wi-Fi 5 mesh system rated at AC3800 with up to 22 combined streams. It delivers wireless speeds up to 3.8 Gbps across 5,500 square feet of coverage for homes that need whole-home connectivity without wiring every room.

Two Gigabit Ports Per Unit

Each node provides two 1-Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired backhaul or direct device connections such as smart TVs and game consoles. The SURFboard Central app handles setup, network customisation and ongoing management from a phone. The system suits owners who prefer app-based control and do not require additional wired expansion beyond the four total ports.

Sustained Whole-Home Coverage

Tri-band operation reserves one 5 GHz band for mesh backhaul so client throughput remains stable when multiple devices stream simultaneously. The 11 streams per router maintain consistent airtime fairness across the 5,500-square-foot footprint during extended use. Buyers needing multi-gigabit wired uplinks or dedicated 6 GHz spectrum should consider other solutions.
