Compact Storage for Sewing Studios

The Arrow Group Joey Storage Cabinet is a compact, freestanding unit built for sewing and crafting workspaces. It provides three drawers — one large and two small — to organise notions, tools and accessories. A built-in locking mechanism secures sharp items, while heavy-duty locking casters give stability and easy mobility. The cabinet is designed to fit inside the pouch of a Kangaroo Sewing Cabinet.

Suited for Dedicated Craft Spaces

This cabinet suits sewists and crafters who want a dedicated, lockable storage unit that moves easily on casters and nests within a compatible Kangaroo workstation. It is less suitable for buyers who need wall-mounted or under-desk storage, those who require more than three drawers, or anyone without space for a freestanding floor unit in their studio.

Durable Daily Operation

Soft-closing drawer slides provide quiet, controlled motion during repeated opening and closing throughout long sewing sessions. The sturdy frame and locking casters keep the cabinet stable when drawers are fully loaded and in frequent use. A smooth grey finish resists everyday wear, and the lifetime warranty reflects the manufacturer’s confidence in sustained performance.

Questions about this item

Does the Joey Storage Cabinet need a Kangaroo Sewing Cabinet to sit in, or can it stand on its own?

The cabinet is designed to fit inside the pouch of a Kangaroo Sewing Cabinet, but its locking heavy-duty casters let it stand and roll independently in any studio space.

Will the soft-closing drawers still close properly if the cabinet is placed on an uneven floor?

The locking casters keep the unit stable and level once engaged, so the full-view soft-closing mechanism operates smoothly even on slightly uneven surfaces.

How can I confirm the locking feature is engaged after I push the cabinet into position?

Press each caster’s lock pedal down until it clicks; the cabinet will then resist rolling, and the drawers will remain secured by the built-in locking mechanism.
