Compact sewing storage cabinet

The Arrow Group Joey Storage Cabinet in ash white provides three drawers — one large and two small — for organising thread, tools and notions. A built-in locking mechanism keeps sharp items secure and out of reach. Soft-closing, full-view drawers with premium hardware give quiet, effortless access. Heavy-duty locking casters add stability and mobility for studio reconfiguration.

Upgrade from open bins or single-tier carts

Replaces loose containers and basic rolling carts that lack security or smooth drawer action. The jump is worth it when you need lockable storage for rotary cutters, scissors or pins and want drawers that close gently without slamming. The compact footprint fits the caddy space of a Kangaroo Sewing Cabinet for a unified workstation.

Behaviour under daily studio use

Locking casters prevent unwanted movement while you cut or press, then release for easy repositioning between tasks. Soft-close slides withstand repeated opening cycles without rebounding or noise. The durable finish resists scratches from tools and notions during constant access. Locking drawers maintain security even when the cabinet is rolled across the room.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the Joey Storage Cabinet so I can confirm it fits in my studio?

The supplier lists the size only as Variety without specific height, width or depth measurements for the cabinet itself.

How do I install the locking casters and what is the common mistake to avoid?

The casters come pre-mounted on the cabinet base; simply roll the unit into position and press each brake lever down to lock. The step people miss is forgetting to engage all four brakes before loading the drawers.

What maintenance will the soft-closing drawer mechanism need over time?

Wipe the drawer slides with a dry cloth periodically and apply a light silicone lubricant if closing becomes sluggish; no disassembly or part replacement is expected under normal use.
