Core Ultra 9 285K 24-Core Desktop

This system is built around the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 24 cores and a 5.7 GHz maximum frequency. The 128 GB DDR5 memory and Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card target enthusiasts who need high multi-threaded throughput and 1440p gaming capability. It suits content creators and competitive players wanting a pre-assembled Windows 11 platform with 2 TB NVMe plus 2 TB HDD storage.

240 mm Liquid Cooling and 750W Power

A 240 mm liquid cooler handles the Core Ultra 9 285K heat output while keeping acoustic levels low during typical desktop and gaming sessions. The 750W power supply feeds the CPU, Radeon RX 9060 XT 8 GB GDDR6 card, memory and dual-drive array with headroom for normal peak draw. Integrated 2.5G Ethernet and Wi-Fi provide network connectivity without add-in cards.

Sustained Load Thermal Stability

Under extended heavy workloads the liquid loop maintains stable coolant temperatures, allowing the 24-core processor to hold high frequencies without thermal throttling. The Radeon RX 9060 XT 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer remains consistent during long rendering or gaming sessions. The MSI GUNGNIR 110R chassis airflow supports continuous operation for production pipelines or marathon play.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240 mm liquid cooler and what step is often missed?

The 240 mm liquid cooler arrives pre-filled and mounted on the Core Ultra 9 285K; the step people miss is connecting the pump header and ARGB cable to the motherboard before first boot.

What maintenance or replacement will the liquid cooling loop and 750 W power supply need later?

Check the 240 mm radiator fins for dust every few months and plan to replace the closed-loop coolant after several years; the 750 W PSU fan bearings may need service after extended heavy loads.

What limit appears first when the Core Ultra 9 285K and RX 9060 XT run sustained workloads?

The 240 mm radiator surface area becomes the thermal bottleneck first, causing coolant temperature to rise and the 24-core CPU to throttle before the 750 W power limit is reached.
