High-end gaming desktop

The ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900KF processor running at 3.2GHz. It pairs that CPU with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card carrying 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The system targets enthusiasts who want a pre-built Windows 11 Home machine ready for demanding titles and heavy multitasking out of the box.

Case layout and connectivity

The ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis uses a 360mm liquid cooler to manage the processor heat. Storage combines a 4TB NVMe SSD with a 2TB hard drive, while 64GB of DDR5 memory occupies the 288-pin DIMM slots. A 750W power supply feeds the components. Wired networking runs over 2.5G Ethernet and a wireless card is included for cable-free access.

Thermal and power profile

Liquid cooling keeps the 24-core processor at stable temperatures during extended sessions. The 750W unit delivers sufficient headroom for the CPU and GPU under typical gaming loads. Fan speeds on the 360mm radiator adjust automatically, so acoustic output stays low when the system is idle and rises only when the workload demands it.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.5G Ethernet port cap LAN transfers at 2.5 gigabits per second?

Yes, the onboard 2.5G Ethernet controller limits wired network throughput to 2.5 Gbps in practice.

What clearance does the 360mm liquid cooler need inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case?

The 360mm radiator mounts in the front or top of the GX601; ensure the chosen slot has at least 360mm of unobstructed length for the radiator and fans.

How is the i9-14900KF installed on the LGA 1700 socket, and what step is often missed?

Align the processor triangle with the socket marker, lower gently, then secure the retention lever; the step often missed is applying thermal paste before seating the 360mm cold plate.
