System overview

This ArsenalPC desktop pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24 core processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card for high-end gaming and content creation. The 5.7GHz boost clock and 64GB DDR5 memory handle multitasking and heavy workloads without bottlenecking. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under sustained loads.

Storage and graphics upgrade

The 4TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD combination replaces smaller single-drive setups, giving both fast boot and application speeds plus bulk capacity for game libraries. The RX 9070 XT with 16GB GDDR6 steps up from mid-range cards, making the jump worthwhile when targeting 1440p or 4K gaming at high refresh rates.

Compatibility checklist

Verify your monitor supports the display outputs on the RX 9070 XT and that your desk space accommodates the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case dimensions. Confirm your network infrastructure can use the 2.5G Ethernet port for wired speeds above 1Gbps. Ensure your peripheral power needs fit within the 850W supply after the GPU and CPU draw.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case?

The 360 mm radiator mounts in the front or top of the ROG Strix Helios GX601; verify the case manual for exact bracket spacing before installing a replacement radiator.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler installed on the Core Ultra 9 285K, and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator and fans, then secure the cold plate to the LGA 1851 socket; the step often missed is removing the protective film from the pre-applied thermal paste before tightening the thumbscrews.

What maintenance will the 360 mm liquid cooler and 850 W power supply need later?

Inspect the liquid cooler for dust on the radiator fins and listen for pump noise every few months; clean the PSU intake filter periodically to maintain airflow to the 850 W unit.
