ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 Gaming Desktop

This pre-built system pairs an Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card for high-frame-rate gaming. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and a 360mm liquid cooler managing thermals inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis. The build targets enthusiasts who want immediate performance without assembly.

Upgrade from older CPU and GPU combinations

The 20-core architecture and 16GB GDDR6 video memory deliver a clear step up from platforms limited to lower core counts or 8GB VRAM buffers. The jump is worth it when current titles stutter at 1440p or when creative workloads exceed available threads. Buyers staying at 1080p with lighter multitasking may not utilise the full headroom.

32GB DDR5 and dual 2TB storage handles modern

The 32GB DDR5 kit and 2TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD combination accommodates large game installs, capture footage and active project files simultaneously. Capacity runs out when multiple AAA titles, raw video timelines and virtual machines compete for the same fast tier. The 850W power supply supports the included components with overhead for typical peripheral additions.

Questions about this item

Will the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case accept a standard ATX motherboard and a 360 mm radiator?

Yes, the GX601 is built for ATX boards and ships with a 360 mm liquid cooler already mounted, so both fit without modification.

What is the correct orientation for the 360 mm liquid cooler when installing it in the GX601?

Mount the radiator at the top or front with tubes pointing down so air cannot collect in the pump block.

Which components in this build will need replacement first under heavy gaming loads?

The 850 W power supply and the 360 mm liquid cooler pump are the parts most likely to wear out before the i7-14700KF or RX 9070 XT.
