Punched Metal Pencil Cup 3.5 x 4.5

The Artistic Products ART20005 is a black punched-metal pencil cup from the Urban Collection designed to keep pens, pencils and small office accessories organised on a desk. Its metal construction and reinforced round edges provide durability while maintaining a modern appearance. Protective feet prevent damage to desktop surfaces. The cup measures 4.5 inches high by 3.5 inches wide and deep.

Replaces Cluttered Drawers

This cup replaces loose storage in drawers or makeshift containers by giving writing tools a dedicated, upright spot on the work surface. The jump is worth it when pens and pencils regularly roll away or get buried under paperwork, and when a sturdy, open-top holder keeps them visible and within reach. The punched-metal design adds a clean industrial look that suits contemporary offices.

Holds Standard Desktop Essentials

The 3.5 inch square base and 4.5 inch height comfortably accommodate standard pens, pencils, highlighters, markers and short rulers. It runs out of space for oversized tools such as long artist brushes, large scissors or bulky craft supplies that exceed the cup's depth or diameter. The open top allows quick access but offers no lid for dust protection or portability.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 3.5-inch-wide cup occupy?

The cup measures 3.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep, so it needs a 3.5-by-3.5-inch footprint on the desk.

What is the correct way to set the cup down so the protective feet work?

Place the cup upright on a flat surface; the built-in feet on the bottom prevent scratches, but tipping it sideways defeats the protection.

Will the punched-metal finish need any upkeep to stay looking new?

Wipe the black punched metal with a soft dry cloth; the reinforced rolled edges resist bending, so no special maintenance is required.
