Full-Size Thinline Cutaway Guitar

This Ashthorpe acoustic-electric guitar measures 41 inches and features a thinline body just 3 inches thick. The cutaway design gives easier access to upper frets for more comfortable playing. It suits beginners and casual players who want a lightweight instrument that works both unplugged and amplified. The brown finish uses A-grade spruce top with basswood back and sides.

Setup and Common Issues

The package includes a 10-watt amplifier with a 5-inch speaker, two-band EQ and built-in overdrive. One set of steel strings comes pre-installed so you only need to tune before playing; a spare set is also supplied. The integrated 4-band pickup equalizer has volume and slide controls for bass, mid-range, treble and presence. New players often find the thinline body less resonant acoustically than deeper dreadnought models.

10-Watt Amplifier Included

The deciding factor for this bundle is the included 10-watt practice amplifier. If you already own a suitable acoustic amp or plan to run directly into a PA system, the extra amp adds bulk without value. Buyers who need a complete plug-and-play solution for home practice or small gatherings will find the amp covers basic amplification needs.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 4-band pickup equalizer is working after setup?

Plug the guitar into the 10-watt amp, turn the volume knob up, then move each slide control for bass, mid-range, treble and presence — you should hear a clear change in tone for every band.

What accessories come in the package and what must I buy separately?

The box includes the 41-inch thinline cutaway guitar with one set of steel strings already installed, a second spare string set, and the 10-watt amplifier with a 5-inch speaker; cables, a strap, picks or a case are not included.

Should I choose a different body thickness or scale length for this model?

This package is offered only as a 41-inch full-size thinline body measuring 3 inches thick with a single cutaway; no other body depths or scale lengths are available for this model.
