High-Temperature RTV Silicone Adhesive

ASI ASI600RTV is a one-part, moisture-curing red silicone sealant supplied in a 2.8 oz tube. It is formulated for formed-in-place gaskets where operating temperatures reach 600°F (310°C) intermittently. The compound remains permanently flexible and resists aging, vibration and shock. It meets MIL-46106 Type 1, FDA and USDA requirements for food contact safety.

Formed-In-Place Gasket For Automotive

The sealant replaces conventional paper or cork gaskets on valve covers, axle housings, water and oil pump seals, thermostat housings and timing chain covers. It also serves industrial pump and compressor gaskets, appliance door gaskets, furnace door gaskets and ductwork. No mixing or additives are required; the material is ready to use directly from the tube.

Cure Time And Thermal Performance

A 1/4-inch bead cures within 24 hours at room temperature. The cured rubber withstands intermittent exposure to 600°F while maintaining a flexible seal. The product contains no solvents that would shrink or degrade the bond under thermal cycling. Power draw and fan noise are not applicable to this adhesive.
