What this DLC adds

The Aspyr 36967 downloadable pack adds the Claptastic Voyage campaign and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Mac. It is for players who already own the base game on Steam and want new story missions and a higher level cap. The code activates on Steam in supported regions only.

Digital delivery and Mac requirements

The product is a Steam code delivered by download; no physical media ships. It requires macOS 10.9.5 or 10.10, an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 13 GB drive space, and a GPU with 256 MB VRAM such as Radeon HD 2600, GeForce 8800 or Intel HD 4000. The base game must already be installed via Steam.

Region locks and base-game dependency

Activation is blocked in AF, BY, CF, CD, CU, IR, IQ, KP, LB, LY, MM, RU, SO, SD, SY, UA, VE, YE, ZW and SS. Buyers in those countries cannot redeem the code. The DLC also does nothing unless the full version of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is already present on the same Steam account.

Questions about this item

Does the Steam DRM let me play offline after activation?

The DLC activates through Steam on Mac. Once the base game and this add-on are downloaded, Steam's offline mode allows play without an internet connection.

How much free disk space does the Claptastic Voyage and UVHUP2 DLC need on my Mac?

The download requires 13 GB of available hard-drive space on top of the base game installation.

What is the correct order to install the base game and this DLC on a Mac?

Install Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel via Steam first, then redeem the DLC code; the add-on will not appear until the main game is present.
