Digital Season Pass for Mac Shooter

This downloadable Season Pass extends Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Mac with four add-on packs that add new characters, missions and challenges. It is sold as an online Steam code so the buyer must already own the base game and have a Steam account to redeem it. The product is aimed at players who want the complete post-launch content bundle in a single purchase.

Steam DRM and Regional Activation Limits

The code activates only through the Steam client and cannot be redeemed in a long list of blocked countries that includes Russia, China, Iran and several others. An internet connection is required for activation and for any subsequent downloads or updates. Buyers in restricted regions will not be able to use the code at all.

Minimum Mac Hardware and Storage Needs

The base game requires macOS 10.9.4 or 10.10, an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.2 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and 13 GB of free disk space. Supported graphics include Radeon HD 2600, GeForce 8800 or Intel HD 3000 with 256 MB of video memory. Gamepad support covers DualShock 3, DualShock 4 and Xbox 360 wired controllers. Systems below these specifications will not run the content.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the Mac version or the Linux version of this Season Pass?

The product listing covers both Mac and Linux platforms under a single code; the system requirements shown are for Mac OS X 10.9.4 or 10.10 with an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 13 GB disk space and a Radeon HD 2600 or equivalent with 256 MB VRAM.

What does the 13 GB disk-space requirement mean once the Season Pass is installed?

It is the minimum free space needed on your Mac to download and install all four DLC packs included in the Season Pass on top of the base game.

How does Steam DRM affect activation and play?

The code must be redeemed on Steam; once activated the Season Pass content is tied to your Steam account and requires the Steam client to download and launch.
