Civilization VI DLC Pack

This downloadable content pack adds the Byzantine and Gallic civilizations to Sid Meier's Civilization VI on Steam. It introduces leaders Basil II and Ambiorix along with their unique units, districts and abilities. The pack also includes the Dramatic Ages game mode, a new map type and two additional World Wonders. Rated E10+ for Everyone 10+.

Base Game and Region Check

You must own the base game Civilization VI on Steam before purchasing this DLC. The Secret Societies mode requires either the Rise and Fall or Gathering Storm expansion to function. Activation is blocked in several countries including Russia, Ukraine, Iran and Cuba; verify your region is supported before ordering.

Steam Library Integration

The product delivers a Steam code that attaches directly to your existing Civilization VI installation. No additional storage space beyond the base game is required for the download. It expands the strategy experience with new leaders, units and game modes without needing separate launcher software or hardware upgrades.

Questions about this item

Does the pack include a base game code or only the DLC?

Only the DLC code is supplied. The base game Sid Meier's Civilization VI must already be owned on Steam to activate and play this content.

Which leader and civilisation should I pick first — Byzantium or Gaul?

Byzantium with Basil II suits religious-domination play through the Taxis ability and Tagma units. Gaul with Ambiorix favours flexible military backed by culture from the Oppidum district.

Will the Dramatic Ages mode work if I only own the base game?

No. The Secret Societies and Dramatic Ages modes both require either the Rise and Fall or Gathering Storm expansion in addition to the base game.
