DLC Overview

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Leader Pass adds eighteen new leader selections to the base strategy game. Twelve leaders are brand new to the series and six reimagine classic figures. The downloadable content requires the base game on Steam and is delivered as an online code.

Steam DRM Requirement

Activation is tied to a Steam account and the content will not run without the base game installed. The supplier lists a blocked-region list covering many countries, so buyers outside the allowed territories cannot redeem the code. An internet connection is required for the initial activation.

Leader Pass Scope

Six DLC packs released between November 2022 and March 2023 deliver the full roster of leaders. Each leader introduces unique abilities and agendas that change diplomacy, war and expansion options. The pass is included free for owners of the Civilization VI Anthology, while standalone buyers receive the same six-part release schedule.
