LGA 1851 ATX board for Intel Core Ultra Series 2
The ASRock B860 LiveMixer WiFi is an ATX motherboard built around the Intel B860 chipset and the LGA 1851 socket. It supports Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2) with a 12+1+1+1+1 Dr.MOS power phase design. Four DDR5 DIMM slots run in dual-channel mode up to 8666+(OC) with Intel XMP 3.0, accepting non-ECC un-buffered CUDIMM modules up to 256GB total capacity.
Verify CPU cooler clearance and power connectors
Before ordering, confirm your chassis fits an ATX board and that your CPU cooler mounting matches the LGA 1851 socket pattern. Check that your power supply provides the required 12VHPWR or 8-pin EPS connectors for the 12+1+1+1+1 phase VRM. Ensure any DDR5 kit you plan to use is a non-ECC un-buffered CUDIMM rated for XMP 3.0, as other module types are not supported.
Thunderbolt 4 Type-C and dual M.2 speeds change
The rear I/O includes one HDMI port and one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C connector for display and high-speed peripheral connectivity. Storage expansion uses three M.2 sockets: M2_1 from the CPU runs PCIe 5.0 x4 at 128 Gb/s for 2280 drives, while M2_2 and M2_3 from the chipset run PCIe 4.0 x4 at 64 Gb/s supporting 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports add RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 support. Realtek ALC1220 7.1 CH audio with Nahimic and Dragon RTL8125BG LAN complete the bundle.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box with the ASRock B860 LiveMixer WiFi and do I need to buy DDR5 modules separately?
The motherboard ships with the board itself, I/O shield, SATA cables and documentation; DDR5 memory is not included and must be purchased separately.
Which DDR5 speed should I choose for the board that supports up to 8666+(OC) with Intel XMP 3.0?
Pick a DDR5 kit rated at 8666 MT/s or lower that carries an Intel XMP 3.0 profile; the board will run it at the rated speed when the profile is enabled in BIOS.
What does the 128 Gb/s figure for the Blazing M.2 socket mean once the board is in a working PC?
It is the theoretical peak bandwidth of a PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe drive installed in M2_1; real-world throughput will be lower and depends on the drive, workload and system cooling.
